The Child’s Pedagogy

Preschool education plays a crucial role in the overall development of a child, laying the foundations for learning as well as social, emotional, and cognitive growth. High-quality educational tools help stimulate children’s curiosity and engagement, support visualization, multimodal learning, interaction, long-term knowledge retention, and more. Educators, as well as parents, can benefit from these tools to create a more stimulating and effective learning environment for children.

Pedagogical Research & Innovation

FMPS is committed to providing preschool children with a high-quality educational program, grounded in research and pedagogical innovation. This funding area includes three projects aimed at supporting research and innovation in early childhood education:

Classroom Environment

The condition of preschool classrooms has a strong impact on children’s engagement and concentration. FMPS is committed to maintaining and improving each of the 24,332 classrooms in its extensive network, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and stimulating learning environment.

Child’s Physical Health & Well-Being

Logistical costs of medical caravans

Physical and mental health are essential drivers of a child’s development and future academic success. Health and learning are closely linked:
• A child who receives quality education is more likely to be healthy.
• A healthy child is better prepared to learn and succeed.

The Moroccan Preschool Foundation (FMPS), the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, and the Saham Foundation have partnered to deploy medical caravans serving preschool children, close to their schools or homes. These caravans visit young children directly to provide early medical screening and essential care in a warm and child-friendly environment.
